The owner and operating therapist of Sensory Pathways 4 Kids in Denver, Colorado for 25 years, Kari and her staff of occupational and physical therapist have been providing therapy to children with Sensory Processing Disorders as well as other developmental delays such as Autistic spectrum disorders, prematurity, cerebral palsy and many others.

Rhonda was raised as the only adopted child in a white family with two other siblings and currently works at an educational advocacy organization in Lansing, Michigan.

khofmannKevin Hofmann is the biracial son of a white mother and black father. Kevin was immediately placed in a foster home and adopted by a white Lutheran minister, his white wife and their three white children.

A life of black and white, radically fractured Detroit had no such thing as diverse neighborhoods. Rising from these struggles is an inspiring story of a transracial family who grew up in one of the most racially volatile cities in America and survived.

Now married to his beautiful wife, Shilease with two sons of his own, he hopes to help encourage transracial families by sharing his experiences through humor and naked honesty.

DJ and LauraDJ was loved and raised by Don and Laura. Although he became a part of their family at just 15 months old, he never forgot his biological family, and always asked about his sister. At 17 years old, with the love and support of his adoptive parents, DJ was finally given the opportunity to meet his biological family. DJ and his mom will share their experiences of talking about the biological family while growing up, the decision to search for them, and the unexpected results.
