Bryan Post is a
licensed clinical social worker in Virginia and Oklahoma. He
is considered one of the foremost child behavior experts in the
country. He specializes primarily in attachment and trauma with
domestic and internationally adopted children, and those in foster
care. His inspired work has led to remarkable transformations for many
Virginia foster care children previously labeled as untreatable. As an
adoptee and former disruptive child, Bryan’s unique insights into child
behavior and the root cause can fundamentally change the way you see
problem children. Author and co-author of eight books, one
national best-seller, and more than 25 audio and DVD programs, his
revolutionary love-based approach to children and their behaviors is
simple yet powerful.
~
“Rather than
focusing on behaviors, Post
goes into the very root of the cause and gives parents simple, concise
guidance on how to respond in a manner that will re-establish secure
attachment where it may once have been lost.”
—Sir Richard
Bowlby
“The
Great Behavior
Breakdown
addresses the most difficult behaviors that parents can face. Like It
addresses the root problems, not just the symptoms. It will teach you
how you can respond more effectively to your children from your own
inner strength with compassionate understanding, rather than reacting
out of your fear.”
—Myla
Kabat-Zinn,
co-author of Everyday
Blessings: The Inner Work of Mindful Parenting
“Bryan’s
work provides insights, techniques and real world tools to help parents
understand their child’s trauma and stressors. His works are insightful
and a must read for all parents.”
